In addition to more than a decade of experience as a child and family psychotherapist in allopathic treatment settings, Dr. Mohr-Almeida has several years teaching experience within Mesa Public Schools and Osborne School District as an English as Second Language Specialist. This background makes Dr. Mohr-Almeida uniquely qualified in understanding the emotional, intellectual and developmental needs of children ages birth through 18.

Dr. Mohr-Almeida has a unique ability to put children at ease and can illicit difficult material or information for the resolution of trauma. Dr. Mohr-Almeida blends being playful with directiveness to quickly resolve issues children experience.
